When I was younger, we used to write our new year's resolutions and then we will promptly forget about it. As I grew older I never wanted to write another new years resolution, coz I never can seem to fulfill 'em, so it seems fruitless to me
But now as I get older I realize that resolutions and such are not entirely fruitless, writing of a new year's resolution means we acknowledge our faults and our need to change. Even if we don't actually make the change, something inside our subconscious, knows this and I believe actually makes steps to alter our mind set. and at some point, maybe in our entire life, we will more than acknowledge this and a change will happen.... I just hope that it's not too late when it does... =)
